What does BPM mean?
Beats per minute. At 60 BPM the metronome clicks once a second, at 120 BPM twice a second.
How does tap tempo work?
Tap the button along with the music four or more times. The tempo is set from the average time between your taps.
How is 6/8 counted?
A 6/8 bar has six eighth notes, felt as two groups of three. Here the BPM counts the eighth notes, and beats 1 and 4 are stressed.
Does the metronome keep time in a background tab?
Yes. Every click is scheduled on the audio clock, so it stays on time when you switch tabs. Keep this tab open.
