Why doesn't the waveform move?
Make sure the right microphone is selected and the browser has permission. On Windows, also check Settings, Privacy and security, Microphone.
What is a good microphone level?
Normal speech usually sits between −30 and −12 dB. Peaks that reach 0 dB clip and sound distorted.
How do I allow microphone access again?
Click the site settings icon at the left of the address bar, set Microphone to Allow and reload the page.
Why do people say I sound quiet on calls?
Raise the input level in your system sound settings or move closer to the microphone. Some apps also lower the level automatically.
