How is the score calculated?
Your score is the number of correct answers in 60 seconds, which is also your correct answers per minute. A new problem appears as soon as your answer is right.
What do the levels mean?
Easy uses numbers up to 10. Medium adds numbers up to 50 and multiplies up to 12 × 12. Hard adds numbers up to 200 and multiplies 2 to 12 by two-digit numbers. Subtraction and division use the same numbers in reverse.
Are there negative numbers or fractions?
No. Subtraction never goes below zero and every division comes out even.
How can I get faster at mental math?
Learn the times tables up to 12 by heart, add and subtract from left to right and practice a few minutes a day. Most of the speed comes from recalling facts instead of working them out.
