The JPG to PDF tool turns one or more images into a single PDF file. Use it when you want to gather phone photos of document pages, scanned forms or pictures in one file. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC images can be added, up to 50 of them.
The PDF is built in your browser and the images never leave your device. It answers the common paperwork request to upload everything as one PDF.
How to use
- Drop the images on the page or use the Choose images button. You can add more later with Add.
- The order of the images in the list is the page order in the PDF. Drag a row by its handle, or use the Move up and Move down buttons.
- Under Page size choose Image size, A4 or Letter. With Image size each page is as large as its picture.
- For Orientation choose Auto, Portrait or Landscape. For Margin choose None, Small or Large.
- Take out any unwanted image with Remove, or press Clear to start over.
- Press Create PDF. When it is ready the page says PDF ready with the page count and file size, and you save it with Download.
When it helps
School enrolment, a bank application, a rental contract or an official letter often asks you to upload documents as a single PDF. You can add phone photos of an ID, a diploma or an invoice in order and make one file.
Collecting photos of lecture notes in one file, sending a customer photos of a product as a PDF, or handing in homework pages works the same way. If you are uploading somewhere with a file size limit, it can help to compress the images first.
Tips
- JPG photos in normal orientation go into the PDF as they are, without recompression. Other formats and rotated photos are re-saved as JPG or PNG at quality 92.
- A PDF does not keep EXIF data such as location.
- For documents you will print or send, choose A4 or Letter. Image size crops nothing and adds no blank space.
- A large number of images or very big ones can take a while. If it fails, try fewer or smaller images.
- Open the PDF once before you send it and check the page order and the orientation of the pictures.
